Black Entrepreneurship Academy - Join the 8 week Academy - reserve your spot
The Black Entrepreneurship Academy is a culturally grounded learning and acceleration ecosystem designed to support Black entrepreneurs in building sustainable, scalable businesses, without sacrificing their mental health, identity, or well-being.
Rooted in Mind State U’s integrated approach, the Academy addresses a gap too often overlooked in traditional entrepreneurship programming: the intersection of business development, mental wellness, and lived experience. We recognize that access to capital, knowledge, and networks is critical, but so is the capacity to navigate pressure, burnout, isolation, and the emotional realities of building something from the ground up.
Based in Toronto and serving entrepreneurs across Southern Ontario and beyond, the Black Entrepreneurship Academy exists to equip founders with the skills, clarity, and support systems required to thrive economically, emotionally, and socially.
The Black Entrepreneurship Academy delivers its programming through two interconnected initiatives:
The Mind State Accelerator
HealthTech & Wellness Scale-Up Stream

Men’s Soul Sessions
Soul Sessions is a curated experience hosted by Mind State U, created to provide entrepreneurs and creatives with intentional space to pause, reflect, and reconnect; both with themselves and with the community.
Soul Sessions integrates mental wellness practices, guided conversation, and collective reflection to support clarity, regulation, and sustainable momentum. Each session addresses the unseen layers of entrepreneurship: stress, identity shifts, burnout, and internal pressure; in a way that feels accessible, grounded, and real.
Through facilitated dialogue and thoughtfully designed experiences, Soul Sessions fosters emotional resilience, self-awareness, and connection. Participants leave with greater clarity, renewed capacity, and a deeper sense of alignment, not just in their work, but in how they move through life.
At its core, Soul Sessions reflects Mind State U’s belief that well-being is not separate from success. It is a necessary part of building anything that lasts.
Grind Sessions
Men’s Grind Sessions is an experience hosted by Mind State U, created to support physical movement, mental clarity, and authentic connection.
Designed for men navigating the pressures of work, leadership, and personal growth, these sessions provide a structured yet flexible space to move the body, regulate the mind, and reset the nervous system. Through a rotating range of physical activities, including yoga, functional training, HYROX-style workouts, dodgeball, cold plunging, and other movement-based practices; Men’s Grind Sessions encourages men to engage their bodies in ways that build strength, resilience, and presence.
More than a workout, this is a space to reconnect with yourself and others. The emphasis is not on performance or competition, but on consistency, embodiment, and shared experience. Movement becomes a tool for mental release, grounded confidence, and community.
Men’s Grind Sessions reflects Mind State U’s belief that physical health, mental well-being, and social connection are deeply linked. When men move together with intention, they don’t just build strength, they build stability, clarity, and momentum.
The Compatibility Code
The Compatibility Code is more than a series, it’s a learning experience designed to turn insight into real-world connection. Relationships today are more confusing than ever; gender roles are shifting, expectations are clashing, and authentic connection feels harder to find. Hosted by a real life couple, The Compatibility Code dives deep into what it really takes for men and women to understand, support, and connect with one another in the modern world.
Each episode unpacks the unspoken dynamics between the sexes: emotional intelligence, communication gaps, intimacy mismatches, and the myths we’ve all been sold.
Through honest dialogue, personal stories, expert insights, and some uncomfortable truths, this series is for anyone who wants to build relationships that are stronger, more conscious, and actually compatible. It’s not about fixing each other, It’s about decoding what’s been getting in the way!
In addition to the series, The Compatibility Code offers facilitates workshops and guided sessions designed to help individuals and couples apply what they’re learning in real time.
These experiences create a safe, intentional space for participants to:
- Develop emotional intelligence and communication skills
- Understand relational patterns and attachment dynamics
- Practice healthy boundaries, conflict navigation, and intimacy
- Translate insight into behavior — not just awareness
Rather than consuming advice passively, participants are invited into environments where reflection, dialogue, and skill-building happen with support and structure.
The Truth:
- 68% OF MEN IN THEIR 30'S ARE SINGLE, THE HIGHEST ITS BEEN IN DECADES
- 45% OF MILLENIALS BELIEVE DATING FEELS HARDER THAN PREVIOUS GENERATIONS

The message is clear, PEOPLE AREN’T JUST CONSUMING LOVE CONTENT, THEY’RE DESPERATE FOR EMOTIONAL TOOLS, SAFE, NUANCE, AND REAL‐TALK CLARITY IN A SPACE OVERFLOWING WITH SURFACE-LEVEL ADVICE.
People aren’t just consuming love and dating content for entertainment. They are searching for emotional tools, safe nuance, and real-world clarity in a space saturated with oversimplified advice and polarized narratives.
The Compatibility Code exists to meet that need offering thoughtful conversation, balanced perspectives, and grounded insight that respects both men and women without villainizing either.
This is an educational, exploratory series for people who are done with extremes, tired of guessing, and ready to build relationships that are conscious, honest, and genuinely compatible.
