Tychon Carter
Executive Director
Tychon Carter-Newman is a core leader within the Mind State U community. He blends creativity, strategy, and emotional intelligence to help people step into their highest potential. A seasoned content creator who has partnered with hundreds of global brands, Tychon is known for storytelling that builds trust, inspires action, and creates meaningful impact.
First recognized as the first Black winner of Big Brother Canada and later a competitor on The Amazing Race Canada, Tychon transformed visibility into purpose. Today, through Mind State U and the Start With You model, he helps individuals build confidence, reset their mindset, and strengthen their identity.
With a background in Economics and Urban Planning from McGill University, Tychon brings both academic insight and lived experience to his work. His programs and conversations are rooted in the pillars of Power, Play, Peace, and Purpose, guiding people to turn their story into strength and their potential into lived reality.
Erin-Ashley Talucci
Director of Programming
Erin-Ashley is a dynamic business strategist dedicated to unlocking potential and achieving lasting success. With over 12 years of experience guiding both start-ups and large-scale companies, she specializes in driving growth, building resilient brands, and creating strategies that maximize impact.
She is passionate about empowering leaders to shift their mindset, embrace innovation, and approach challenges with confidence.
Having generated over $300 million dollars in real estate sales, Erin-Ashley blends practical expertise with motivational approaches to equip her clients with tools for both financial and personal growth. She spearheads transformative initiatives that focus on operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable business models.
Guided by her belief that mindset is the foundation of success, she teaches individuals how to align vision with strategy to create powerful results.
Erin-Ashley is also a thought leader who develops programs, workshops, and content that inspire action and empower others to rewrite their success stories.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion from Western University, ensuring her coaching is rooted in inclusive leadership.
Theon Reefer
Director, Community Outreach
Theon Reefer is a former professional athlete and business professional with a degree in business from St. Mary’s University. His career spans leadership roles in the restaurant, hospitality, and basketball industries, where he is known for his commitment to excellence, teamwork, and operational leadership.
As a co producer and host of the He’s a Guy podcast and a Program Lead within Mind State U, Theon plays an essential role in advancing conversations about modern masculinity, mental wellness, and community building. Through youth mentorship, basketball camps, and men’s wellness events, he remains dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders.
With extensive experience facilitating resource-based groups and transformative sessions, he creates spaces where accountability, resilience, and leadership are built. His work is rooted in practical strategies, mentorship, and evidence informed approaches that empower lasting personal growth. Known for his integrity and impact, he is a trusted advocate for men seeking clarity, confidence, and meaningful progress.
